RUTLAND/WHITINSVILLE – Jane M. (Kissel) Mosher, 86, beloved wife of the late Robert L. Mosher, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus. Born in Salamanca, NY, and raised in Holden, she was the daughter and step-daughter of Marjorie (Gogel) Wagner and her husband, Clifford R. Wagner and John Kissel.
Jane was a graduate of Holden High School, Class of 1951. In 1957 she married her husband, Bob and together they raised their only son, Mark in Rutland. For several years, Jane attended the First Baptist Church in Holden. Jane retired in 2000 from Sims Manufacturing Company in Rutland after 36 years of dedicated service. She also worked for H. Duesberg-Bosson Woolen Co. in Jefferson. In her spare time, she loved gardening, playing the lottery and going to Scarborough beach. Jane loved and adored her feline friend, Tiger.
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her son, Mark Mosher of MA; two brothers, “Dick” Clifford R. Wagner of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Robert F. Wagner of Jefferson, MA; two grandchildren, Melissa Mosher of Whitinsville, MA with whom she lived and Robert Mosher of Charlton, MA; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler, Dylan, Daniel, Brandi, Alixander, Ember Rose and Aria; two sisters-in-law, Connie Johns and her husband, Robert of NC and Elizabeth Solman of Worcester, MA; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Bob she was predeceased by her brother, John Kissel.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 9 in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Appropriate Covid-19 protocol will be observed including the use of face masks and social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
