Biography
WORCESTER - Jamie L. Peters, 37 of Worcester passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2015. Born in Worcester a daughter of Jonathan E. and Catherine M. (Ohman) Peters. In addition to her parents, she leaves a brother, Jonathan P. Peters of Holden; a sister, Cindy Murphy of Los Angeles, maternal grandfather, Philip Ohman, sister-in-law, Kristy Murphy, Aunts, Gayle Ohman, Hannah Peters and Janet Peters, Uncles, Thomas Ohman and Baker Symes, two nephews, several cousins, many friends and her faithful cat companion, Ghost. Jamie was predeceased by her grandparents, Dr.’s Louis and Audrey Peters and Catherine and Robert Handley. She graduated from Wilbraham Monson Academy and Northeastern University with a BS Degree in Environmental Geology. After college she lived in San Francisco and worked for Exxon Mobil as a geologist. Jamie loved the outdoors, music and dancing. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.Jamie’s funeral was held recently in St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna Street, Worcester under the direction of Philip G.
