WORCESTER – James “Jim” N. Gordon , age 80 , of Fitchburg , formerly of Worcester passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 1, 2022. He was born in Worcester to Paul and Marcia ( Baker ) Gordon . He leaves a sister, Sheila Luther along with two nephews and a niece, long time friends Ron and Sharon Brooks and their sons Anthony and Kerry Brooks and their spouses and children who looked upon Jimmy as an adjunct family member, his lifelong friend Larry Kaplan and later on in life , Dan Smith.
Jim was an automobile enthusiast, a music aficionado and enjoyed being dapper. He embarked on a few small businesses and was employed at Wyman-Gordon Company and he was also a limousine driver. He served in the National Guard. These factors all lead to his having many friends and acquaintances interspersed in his 80 years for a reason, season or lifetime. To that he'd say, L'Chaim .
Funeral services will be held at 12:00PM, noon, on Monday, February 7th in Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden under the care of Richard Perlman. Masks and social distancing are requested. Burial will follow in B’Nai Brith Cemetery, 55 Saint John’s Road, Worcester.
