RUTLAND - James P. Goodrow, 84 passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, July 6, 2023.
Jim leaves his daughter, Heidi Ravelson (Goodrow) and her husband Bernard of Worcester, MA; his son, James Peter II, his wife Maureen, grandchildren Madison and Hunter of Twin Mountain, NH.
He was predeceased by his father John, mother Julia Cooney (Dauderis); brothers John Sr., and Jefferey. He leaves his brothers Jason, Joel, and the extended families of Bray, Allshouse, Dauderis, and Goodrow.
Jim graduated from Commerce High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He worked for National Grid for 33 years, retiring in 1993.
Jim was a lifelong sportsman, and a lover of nature. He was an avid golfer.
There are no calling hours. The burial will be private.
