WORCESTER - Jacquelyn L. Linfield, 70, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital. Born in Providence, Rhode Island and raised in Worcester, Jackie was the daughter of Arthur R. and Genevieve D. (Sidel) Linfield.
Jackie was a 1970 graduate of North High School in Worcester. She worked as a machinist for over 35 years at Cole Morgan and US Tsubaki, Inc. in Holyoke before retiring in 2021.
She loved nature and being outdoors. Jackie enjoyed hiking with her niece and nephews throughout central New England and candlepin bowling. She loved her family and they loved her. They affectionately remember Jackie by her many acts of kindness, ability to listen without judging, keeping the peace, and thoughtful advice. She could light-up a room with her presence and rarely walked out without making a friend.
She is survived by a brother, Stanley W. Linfield of Worcester; two sisters, Arlene M. Duperron of N. Attleboro and Norma R. Abney of Ashfield; two aunts, Susan Sidel of E. Greenwich, RI and Beverly Sidel of Florida, and an uncle Joel Sidel of California; eight nephews, Jason Emmitt, Stanley Jr Linfield, Mathew Linfield, Justin Linfield, Joshua Linfield, Antonio Linfield, Christopher Duperron and Jonathan Duperron; one niece, Melisa Nieves; and several great nephews and nieces.
