WORCESTER - Jacqueline "Jackie" P. (McIntosh) Theodosis, 95, passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family and the staff at the Oasis at Dodge Park on Monday, July 31, 2023, after a brief illness. Born and raised in Juniper, New Brunswick, Canada, Jackie was the daughter of Ernest M. and Mary Jane (Lomas) McIntosh and lived 17 years in Holden before moving to Worcester in 1963. Her beloved husband of 44 years, Charles M. Theodosis, died in 2007.
Jackie worked 33 years at Cumberland Farms Food Distribution Center in Westborough, retiring as a plant supervisor in 1996. She previously worked at the YMCA in Worcester and the former Scandia Bakery in Holden.
In her spare time, Jackie enjoyed gardening at her home in Holden and was known for her rose gardens in Worcester. She loved entertaining and baking for family and friends and looked forward to quiet times when she would escape into a bestselling novel. As many of her generation, Jackie enjoyed outside activities and fondly spoke of her youthful days spent ice skating in Juniper and later in Holden. She felt comfortable and at home vacationing annually at Old Orchard Beach with her family and fellow Canadians. She will be remembered for her kind, gentle and selfless nature.
She is survived by many nephews and nieces including her caregivers, Donna R. Rollo of Sterling and Renee Kublbeck of Holden. Besides her husband, Jackie is predeceased by her son, Charles K. Theodosis who died in 2014; a grandson, Charles K. Theodosis, Jr.; seven brothers, Frank, Fred, Claude, Earl, Carl, Keith, and Kenneth McIntosh; and two sisters, Madeline Chase and Audrey Reeves.
Jackie's family is eternally grateful for the care, compassion, and loving environment extended and created by the dedicated staff at the Oasis at Dodge Park.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jackie's family from 9 to 10:30 am on Saturday, August 5, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am.
