Biography
WORCESTER – Jacob Selig, age 94, of Wayland, formerly of Winthrop, a Worcester native, died on Saturday, September 16, 2017. He was a retired Certified Public Accountant. He leaves his wife of 71 years, Shirley (Sobel) Selig; a son, David Selig and his wife Patricia of Richmond, VA; a daughter, Elizabeth Price of Framingham; a sister, Esther London of Worcester; two grandchildren, Jesica Morris and Avery Selig-Spencer and two great-grandchildren, Jordan Selig and Leah Morris. He was predeceased by his siblings, Sadie Koss, Philip Selig, Harry Selig, Anne Sapolsky and Irving Selig.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 3:00pm on Monday, September 18 at Worcester Hebrew Cemetery on Cemetery Road in Auburn, MA under the direction of Richard Perlman of Miles Funeral Home of Holden. Memorial observance will be announced at the time of the funeral service.
