WORCESTER - Dr. Irving Johnston Crumlin II, 66, of Worcester, MA entered into rest on December 27, 2016. He was the devoted and caring husband to the late Linda J. Crumlin; loving father of Dr. Ethan J. Crumlin and Alex J. Crumlin and his wife, Sara; and dear son of the late Irving J. Crumlin, Sr. and Dr. Mary Lang Crumlin. He leaves his brother, Col. Donald Crumlin and sister, Dr. Patricia Kempton; caring extended family, dear friends, and his loyal companion and dog, Tayler, all of whom he cared for deeply.
Always an independent and free spirit, Irving grew up in Cambridge, MA. He received his B.S. at Northeastern University, his MBA at American International College, and his DBA at Ashwood University. He was a perpetual student, always studying and thinking, while living life to the beat of his own drum. In his capacity as the director of several Human Resources departments across Massachusetts, he always advocated for those most in need, driven by his large heart and passion for helping people. He took great pride in his accomplishments and service, but his greatest joy came from being Ethan and Alex’s father and Linda’s husband.
