Irene M. (Brideau) Beauregard

January 13, 1916 — May 14, 2005

WORCESTER – Irene M. (Brideau) Beauregard, 89 of Kendrick Avenue in Worcester, died Saturday, May 14, 2005 at UMASS Memorial Health Care in Worcester, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Elwin F. Beauregard who died in 2001.

She is survived by three nephews, Wayne Desrosiers of Jaffrey, New Hampshire, Henry Desrosiers of Mashpee, and John Letourneau of Orlando, Florida. She was the sister of the late Mary Desrosiers and Ida Letourneau. She was born in Peterborough, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Peter A. and Josephine (Despres) Brideau.

She was a graduate of Peterborough High School and worked as a secretary with the Norton Company in Worcester for many years. She was an avid dog lover, specifically French Poodles, and competed in various dog shows throughout the area. She enjoyed the violin and playing cards.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, at Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetery, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be to the charity of one’s choice. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden, is directing arrangements.
