HOLDEN – Irene E. (Derosier) Fleming, 91, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Kindred Transitional Care in Marlborough after an illness. She was the wife of the late Jeremiah Fleming.
She leaves a son, Joseph Fleming and his wife Valerie of Jefferson; two granddaughters, Kathleen Fleming of Dracut and Kara Fleming of Worcester. Irene was born in Grafton, the daughter of Clarence J. and Anna M. (Gosselin) Derosier and lived in Holden for over 50 years.
She worked 27 years at Brown Shoe Company in Worcester and later worked 6 years for State Mutual. Irene was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Jefferson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, in Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A committal service will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church, P. O. Box 2200, Jefferson, MA 01522.
