Inez H. (Nelson) Lindberg

WEST BOYLSTON – Inez H. (Nelson) Lindberg, of Briarwood Circle, died Thursday, July 27, 2006, in Knollwood Nursing Center, West Boylston, after an illness.
Her husband of 67 years, Bertel G. Lindberg died in October 2004. She leaves two sisters-in-law, Svea Wicker of Fitchburg and Beatrice Waters of Northboro and several nephews and nieces. Two brothers, Raymond and Robert Nelson predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Einar and Hildegard (Karling) Nelson and lived in West Boylston for many years.
She graduated from Dover, NH, High School and business school in Worcester. She worked at David Clark Co. and Coppus Engineering, retiring in 1977. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 204, West Boylston, and served on the West Boylston Council on Aging. She was an active volunteer at the Briarwood Retirement Community, where she resided.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, July 31, at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, 32 Church Street, West Boylston. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Briarwood Residents Assistance Fund, 65 Briarwood Circle, Worcester, MA 01606. Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road, (Rte. 12) Sterling, is directing arrangements.
