HOLDEN – Nancy I. Frederickson, 49, of 11 Towle Drive, died on Saturday, July 19, 2008 surrounded by her loving family in UMass Memorial Hospital, Worcester.
She leaves her husband of 20 years, Dana P. Frederickson; two sisters, Shirley J. Lundberg and her husband Bruce of Northboro and Jane L. Lucas of Dudley; two nieces, Crystal and Amy Lundberg, both of Northboro; and two nephews, Matthew Lucas of Dudley and Bradford Janowski of Princeton. She was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of John and Irene (Marshall) Fredriksson, and lived in Holden most of her life. She was a 1976 graduate of Wachusett Regional High School and completed post-graduate work at the David Hale Fanning School of Nursing in Worcester.
Nancy worked as an Underwriting Specialist at Unum, formerly Paul Revere Insurance Company in Worcester for 30 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a train enthusiast, loved reading and collecting owl figurines.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22nd, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral service for Nancy will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23rd, in Immanuel Lutheran Church, 346 Shrewsbury Street, Holden. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
