WEST BOYLSTON – Lucy Ida (Luksevish) Castonguay, 83, of Hosmer Street, died on Sunday, December 27, 2009 in UMass Memorial Healthcare, Memorial Campus, Worcester, after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 62 years, Richard F. Castonguay, Sr.; two sons, Richard F. Castonguay, Jr. of Broken Bow, OK and Frank L. Castonguay of Navarre, FL; two daughters, Sheila A. Supernor of West Boylston and Susan J. Lee of San Diego, CA; seven grandchildren, Corey and Brett Supernor, Jeffrey, Michael, Frank and Jared Castonguay, and Jennifer Gerk; many nephews and nieces, and her best friend, Peg Brien. Three brothers and four sisters predeceased her.
Mrs. Castonguay was born in Alstead, New Hampshire, a daughter of Frank and Marcela (Action) Luksevish, and lived in West Boylston for the last 51 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30th, in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, December 31st, from the funeral home with a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester Street, West Boylston. Spring burial will be in High Plains Cemetery, Oakdale. Please omit flowers. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
