WORCESTER – Helen M. (Messier) Fornari, 86, formerly of Auburn and Worcester died Thursday, December 9, 2004 in the University Commons Nursing Home.
Her husband of 36 years, Albert C. Fornari died in 1984. She leaves two sons, Michael A. Fornari and his wife Elaine C. of Worcester and Stephen J. Fornari of Charlton; two daughters, Ruth A. Vermilyea and her husband Kirk of Palm Harbor, FL, and Susan C. Bjork and her husband William E. of Auburn; nine grandchildren and a great-grandson. She was born in North Oxford the daughter of George and Albina (LaMountain) Messier.
Mrs. Fornari had worked at local Health Food Stores and was a loving mother, grandmother and caregiver.
The funeral Mass for Mrs. Fornari will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 13 in St. George’s Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Monday prior to the Mass in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden.
