Helen (Hendricks) Ericson

RUTLAND - Helen (Hendricks) Ericson, 82 of 68 Glenwood Road, died Saturday, August 14, 2004 in UMass Memorial Medical Center-Memorial Campus. Her husband of 49 years, Cosmic F. Ericson died in 1990. She leaves two daughters, Lana J. Ambrose of Rutland and Doreen F. Colby of Naples, Florida; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A son, Paul D. Ericson, a brother, Edwin Hendricks and a grandson, Scott Ericson predeceased her.

Mrs. Ericson was born in Worcester, daughter of Peter and Viena (Wuorisalo) Hendricks. She was a Cafeteria Manager in the Rutland School System for many years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Rutland and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed gardening and crafts.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 21 in the First Congregational Church of Rutland, 264 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Rutland. There are no calling hours.
