Helen Harry

WORCESTER - Helen D. Harry, age 96, of Worcester passed away at home on Friday, November 17, 2023 after a period of declining health. Her husband of 63 years, Christopher G. Harry, passed away in 2002. Born in Worcester, Helen was a daughter of the late George and Katina (Chapi) Kontaxi and lived in Worcester her entire life.

Helen was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church. Prior to marrying Chris, Helen worked for several years at Table Talk Pies, Inc. in Worcester. Thereafter she was a dedicated wife and mother to her husband and children.
Helen leaves a son, George C. Harry and a daughter, Catherine M. Harry, both of Worcester with whom she lived, and several nephews and nieces. A brother John Kontaxi and a sister, Bessie Christo predeceased her.

Relatives and friends are invited to join George and Catherine for a visiting hour from 9:00-10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 in St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street, Worcester. A funeral service will immediately follow at 10:00AM with burial thereafter in Hope Cemetery in Worcester.
