RUTLAND – Helen Laura “Laurie” Eddy, 72, passed away at home on Monday, October 3, 2022, after an illness.
She leaves her siblings, Nancy Rutter and her husband, Kenneth of Portsmouth, RI, Cynthia Sherwood and her husband, Steven of Rutland, Brenda Eddy of Rutland, Linda Bateman and her partner, Nancy of Spencer, Gayle Grenier of Rutland, David H. Eddy, IV and his wife, Claudia of Holden, Sandra Christian and her husband, Kevin of Rutland and Robert Gross and his wife, Kathy of Holden and many nieces and nephews.
Helen was born in Worcester, the daughter of David H., Jr., and Betty J. (Kierstead) Eddy and had lived most of her life in Rutland. She graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and was a phlebotomist for 40 years.
Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home.
