HOLDEN – Hazel M. (Wells) Forgues, 82, died Sunday, February 27, 2005, in Holden Nursing Home after an illness.
Her husband, Dr. George W. Forgues, died in 1998. She leaves nephews, nieces and cousins. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Albert and Mary (Soboleski) Wells, and lived over 40 years in Tonawanda, New York and seven years in Holden.
Mrs. Forgues graduated from Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse at both Worcester City Hospital and Kenmore Mercy Hospital in Buffalo, New York. She attended St. Mary’s Church in Jefferson.
The funeral Mass for Mrs. Forgues will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, March 4, in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum, 162 Webster Street, Worcester. Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 3, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden.
