WORCESTER - Harriet M. (Aisenberg) Golden, age 99, died on Monday, November 26, 2018 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home.
Her husband of 53 years, Dr. Ephraim Golden, died in 1996. She leaves a son, Robert Golden and his wife, Mariam of Worcester; two daughters, Judith, wife of Kevin Reando of Worcester and Susan, wife of Michael Aronson of Corvallis, Oregon; 8 grandchildren, Nathan, Coreen, Jesse, Wendy, Rachel, Carmel, Derek and Timur; and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Erwin Aisenberg.
She was born in Worcester, and was the daughter of William and Esther (Lewis) Aisenberg, and was a lifelong resident. She attended Columbia University.
She was a member of Temple Emanuel Sinai and its Sisterhood, Hadassah and Worcester Hearing League. She was a Hospice volunteer for many years and transcribed Braille. She loved gardening, knitting, music, playing bridge, ballroom dancing and mostly, her family. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 1:00 P.M. ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29, AT TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI, 661 SALISBURY STREET, WORCESTER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will follow in B'Nai Brith Cemetery.
Memorial Observance will be held through Thursday evening, November 29, and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, at the residence of Robert and Mariam Golden.
