Biography
WORCESTER – Harold William Paige, 95, of 770 Salisbury Street, died on Saturday, August 29, at the Jewish Healthcare Center.
He leaves his wife of 73 years, Harriet (Comen) Paige; three sons, Michael Paige and his wife, Cathy of Beverly, Richard Paige and his wife Jacqueline of Honolulu, and Stephen Paige and his wife, Nancy of West Boylston; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Emily, Juliette, Laura, Margot, Nathan and Rachel; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his two brothers, Robert and Milton (Michael) Paige.
He was born in Worcester and was the son of Louis and Mary (Young) Paige and was a lifelong resident of Worcester. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a jeweler and owned and operated Paige Jewelers in Westborough which he founded 50 years ago. He was a member of Kiwanis of Westborough.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 2:30 P.M. ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, IN TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI, 661 SALISBURY STREET, WORCESTER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will be in Worcester Hebrew Cemetery in Auburn.
Memorial Observance will be announced at the time of the funeral service.
