Harold ''Buster'' G. Jennette

HOLDEN – Harold “Buster” G. Jennette, 82, of Jefferson, died on Thursday, November 17, 2005, in Wachusett Extended Care Facility after a brief illness.

He leaves three sons, Stephen H. Jennette of Saint Albans, Vermont, Mark A. Jennette of Webster and Paul F. Jennette of Cape Cod; a daughter, Julie Kullas of Cape Cod; two brothers, Joseph and Francis Jennette both of Holden; three sisters, Helen Kronof of Sacramento, California, Mary Palulian of New Port Richey, Florida, and Linda Mandella of Rochdale; 11 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; his companion of 30 years, Martha F. Danico of Holden, and her children, Catherine Hadley, Victoria Titus, Robert Danico and Elizabeth Oldakowski. He was born in Franklin, New Hampshire, the son of Salvatore and Margaret (Stevens) Jennette, and lived most of his life in Holden.

Mr. Jennette was a self-employed brick mason in the Wachusett area for many years. He was a World War II Army Veteran and served in the European Theater. He participated in several campaigns including the Battle of the Bulge and the invasion of Normandy.

A graveside service for Mr. Jennette will be held 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, at High Plain Cemetery, High Street, Oakdale. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West, Floor 6, Brookline, MA 02445-9924. Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden is directing arrangements.
