Harold 'Bud' B. Jensen

Biography
PAXTON - Harold "Bud" B. Jensen 84, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2016 at the Holden Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Holden. He was born in Worcester, a son of the late Orla B. and Flora C. (Eames) Jensen.
Bud was raised in Paxton and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from South High School and later proudly served as a member of the US Army during the Korean War. Bud worked for over 30 years as a meter reader for the Holden Municipal Light Company until his retirement in 2001.  He was a member of American Legion Post 306 in Paxton.
His beloved wife, Grace M. (Brown) Jensen died in 1995. He leaves his daughter, Bonnie J. Jensen of Barre; his three sons, Briean L. Jensen and his wife, Terilee of Rutland, Scott E. Jensen and his wife, Susan of West Brookfield and Erik J. Jensen and his wife, Dawn of Rutland; five grandchildren, April, Kristin, Alexander, Benjamin and Brieanna.  He was affectionately known as "Gunky" to his grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his brother, Alwyn Jensen in 2014.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the Jensen family on Tuesday, February 2, from 5-8 p.m. at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden. Burial in Mooreland Cemetery, Paxton will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
