Grace Ann Hebert

July 21, 1942 — February 15, 2025

SEBRING, FL - Grace Ann Hebert, age 82, passed away peacefully on February 15, 2025, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring, FL, after a courageous and long-fought battle with heart failure and chronic kidney disease.

Born and raised in Worcester, MA, Grace was the beloved daughter of the late Jeremiah and Grace (Cool) Moynihan. She attended Worcester Public Schools and proudly graduated from St. Peter's High School. Grace worked at various places throughout her life, including Wachusett Regional High School in the cafeteria, George Myer Co., ECC Corporation, and Prototech.

Grace is deeply mourned by her devoted husband of 37 years, James M. Hebert, and her cherished children: Joseph McGrath of Grafton, Sandra Debrot and her husband Jack of Cresskill, NJ, James McGrath and his wife Lori of Eastham, Marlene Whipple and her husband John of Holden, and Chrissy McGrath of Branford, CT. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Jen Hebert and her wife Christine, along with eight grandchildren, David Brand, Michael Fry, Joseph and Jake McGrath, Benjamin and Andrew Whipple, and Sofia and Noelle Debrot, 5 great grandchildren, and her brother Robert Moynihan. Besides her parents, Grace was predeceased by her brother Bill Moynihan.

Grace was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a friend to all who knew her. Her warm, generous heart and ability to make others feel loved and valued were her greatest gifts. She worked tirelessly in all that she did, but it was her kindness, loyalty, and the deep bonds she shared with her family that defined her legacy. We will always remember Grace for her beautiful smile and big blue eyes.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at Advent Hospital in Tampa, FL, as well as the compassionate team at Good Shepherd Hospice, for their care and support during this difficult time.

A private graveside service will be held at Grove Cemetery in Holden, MA, where Grace will be laid to rest.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75231
