Biography
WORCESTER – Goldie (Brown) Miller, 88, of Revere, formerly of Worcester, died on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Mass General Hospital in Boston.
Her husband of 45 years, Arthur I. Miller died in 1999. She leaves her children, Lori and Craig, Irina and Wayne, and Rosalie and Todd; her grandchildren, Nathan, Benjamin, Rachel, Nicole, Ronnie, Gabriel, Noah, Melanie, and Rebecca; her sister, Annette Harris. She was predeceased by her sisters, Ida Shifres and Marion Price and her brothers, Irving and Charles Brown.
She was a longtime member of Temple Emanuel of Worcester and was a life member of ORT. She was born in Framingham and had lived in Worcester for 40 years, Delray Beach, FL for 15 years, and had moved to Revere 7 years ago.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 12:00 NOON ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 13, AT CONGREGATION BETH ISRAEL, 15 JAMESBURY DRIVE, WORCESTER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will be in Holy Society Cemetery in Leicester.
Following the interment service, a Memorial Observance Reception will be held at the Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury St., Worcester and 7pm to 9pm at the residence of Rosalie and Todd. On Tuesday, Memorial Observance will be held 1pm to 3pm at the Satter house at 420 Revere Beach BLVD in Revere, and 4pm to 6pm and 7pm to 9m at the home of Rosalie and Todd.
Memorial contributions may be made to Massachusetts General Hospital, Caring for a Cure, Boston, or to the Jack Satter House in Revere.
