Gloria C. (Choney) Bobeck

FRAMINGHAM - Gloria C. (Choney) Bobeck, age 89, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at home in Framingham. Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Michael C. and Josephine (Küchle) Choney.

Gloria spent her early years in Auburn, Boylston, and Worcester, graduating from Commerce High School in Worcester in 1950. Early in life, she worked as an administrative assistant for the Navy in Worcester and was a homemaker from 1960 onward.

She enjoyed singing, baking, sewing, gardening, reading, game shows, spending time on Cape Cod with family, and buying every beige umbrella in existence.

She is survived by her son, Robert J. Bobeck of Michigan, daughter in law, Chris; grandchildren, Josephine and Erich, her son, Jeff Bobeck of Massachusetts, and sisters, Carolyn Cowal and Joan Thompson of Worcester. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Bobeck, who passed in 2012, and her sister Nancy McLaughlin.
