Gladys (Siegel) Wronski, 99, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Wednesday, February 2, 2022. Born and raised in Utica, NY, Gladys was the daughter of Walter and Mary (Giza) Siegel.
Gladys graduated from Utica Free Academy. During WWII, she was employed at Griffiths Air Force Base in the teletype office signal section. It was there that she met her future husband, Joseph M. Wronski, a pharmacist from Massachusetts. Massachusetts became their home in 1946, where together Gladys and Joseph raised their three sons. Along with her husband, Gladys co-owned the Bridal Path Pharmacy in Springfield, MA.
She will be lovingly missed and remembered by her two sons, Michael S. Wronski and his wife, Michele of Philadelphia, PA and Joseph C. Wronski and his wife, Patricia Barnes of Silver City, NM; a granddaughter, Sofia Wronski and her husband, Mark Greenfogel of Evergreen, CO; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by a son, Walter J. Wronski and four sisters, Sonia Gorski, Eleanor Sullivan, Helen Siegel and Agnes Chrzan.
Arrangements are private and under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
