HOLDEN – Gladys L. (Parent) Kohlstrom, 78, formerly of Holden, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Nursing Home, Westboro after an illness.
Her husband, Frank F. Kohlstrom died in 1999. She leaves five sons, Richard D. Kohlstrom of Worcester, Kevin Kohlstrom of Hubbardston, Frank F. Kohlstrom, Jr. of Holden, Brian Kohlstrom of Northboro, and Dr. Steven Kohlstrom of San Francisco; two daughters, Donna Kohlstrom of Leesburg, FL, and Gail A. Kohlstrom of Worcester; seven grandchildren; Scott Kohlstrom of Spencer, Mark Kohlstrom of Palmer, Adam Kohlstrom of Camden, ME, Sarah Kohlstrom Duval of Grafton, Nicholas Kohlstrom of Hubbardston, Jessica and Jullian Kohlstrom both of Holden; three great grandchildren, Kristine and Kathleen Kohlstrom both of Spencer, and Samuel Kohlstrom of Camden, ME; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester the daughter of J. Victor. and Lillian S. (Fortin) Parent and lived many years in Holden and Leesburg, FL.
Mrs. Kohlstrom was an administrative assistant in the Grant Department at Assumption College, Worcester. Previously she worked in the Holden Town Clerk’s Office.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kohlstrom will be held at 1p.m. Saturday, March 20, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. Burial will be private. Calling hours are from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 20, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the Alzheimer’s Association, Mass.
