George was born in 1932, the son of the late Leslie W. and Hattie Mae (Wood) Gove. He graduated from The Worcester Boys Trade in 1952. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, where he was honored with a Bronze Star. He served in Company C in the 159th Battalion, repairing transportation equipment. We will always proudly remember George's quiet sole, smiling eyes, strong work ethic, morals, and values. We will honor him for these things simply by following in his footsteps and living by his example. We will hold dear all memories of him forever in our hearts. He will be sadly missed.
