TOWNSEND/BALDWINVILLE - Gail D. (Boucher) Felton, 74, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 21, 2023, at Baldwinville Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after an illness. Born in Fitchburg, Gail was the daughter of John M. and Lucille M. (Wright) Boucher. Her beloved husband of 58 years, William F. Felton died in April of this year.
As a child, she enjoyed growing up in Townsend with family and friends. At a young age, she met the man (Bill) that would sweep her off her feet. They married and decided to raise their family together in Townsend. In later years, they enjoyed Florida before moving back to Templeton.
After having three children, Gail went to Henry's Hairdressing School and ended up owning and operating Golden Clippers. She later went back to school and enrolled at Mount Wachusett Community College where she received her G.E.D. and an associate degree in gerontology. She enjoyed crafts, painting, and camping, always with her husband by her side.
Gail's biggest and greatest accomplishments were raising her three children and then becoming an O'ma and a great O'ma. Her unconditional love for them always came with a smile, hug, and a kiss.
She leaves behind her mother, Lucille M. Boucher of Gardner; a daughter, Wanda L. Felton-Tucker (Richard) of Templeton; two sons, Lumpy W.N. Felton (Roseann) of Templeton and Kevin Michael Felton (Janice) of Lunenburg; 11 grandchildren, Evan, Ethan, Eran, Elizabeth, Brittney, Danny, Thomas, Annie, Paul, Abi, and Erin; 9 great-grandchildren; a brother, John M. Boucher (Debra) of Gardner; two sisters, Penny Dearborn (Thomas) of Hawaii and Tammy Jo Rafuse (Paul) of Milford, NH.
Besides her husband, Gail is predeceased by her father, John M. Boucher and two brothers, Lyle and Brian K. Boucher.
A memorial service honoring and celebrating Gail's life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, August 5, at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alliance Health at Baldwinville Activity Fund, 51 Hospital Road, Baldwinville, MA 01436.
