Franklin 'Jeff' Z. Jaffarian

Biography

NORTHBOROUGH -  Franklin Z. “Jeff” Jaffarian, 90, of Northborough passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018, at UMASS Hospital. Born in Worcester, he was a son of the late Souren and Victoria (Hoogasian) Jaffarian. Before graduating from the former Commerce High School, he served two years in the Navy. He began a career that spanned 52 years when at age 18, he joined the old Worcester Gas and Light Company.  Witnessing its corporate transitions, he became Director of Materials Management for COMM Energy, which is now Eversource.He leaves his wife of 54 years, Lyria “Lee” ( Kiriako ) Jaffarian, and a son, Attorney Thomas C. Jaffarian, both of Northborough. He met Lee on Cape Cod and they enjoyed returning there often. His brothers, Haig Jaffarian and Souren Jaffarian, Jr. predeceased him.At his request, the funeral and burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Philip G. Haddad, Jr, Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.May His Memory Be Eternal
