STERLING – Frank J. Taylor Sr., 75, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Springfield, the son of John Francis and Alice (Quinn) Taylor and has lived in Sterling for many years.Frank will be missed by his devoted wife of 45 years, Sharon (Campbell) Taylor; his sons, Frank J. Taylor Jr. and his wife, Stephanie and Darell Ostertag and his fiancée, Joanna Lemire; his daughters, Susin Carlson and her husband, Michael, Michelle Taylor and Xilah Taylor; his sisters, Linda Ploner and Marilyn “Peachy” Marino; his grandchildren, Maegin, Tyler, Michael, Jordan, Amber, Luke, Audrey, Stephanie, Molly, Jacqueline and Codi; and his great grandchildren, Jacob and Jenna. He was predeceased by his brothers, Peter Taylor and John Taylor and his sister, Sandra Govaninni.Frank proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Third Grade Seaman from 1959 until 1963 during the Vietnam War. He worked for Digital Equipment Corporation retiring as a Purchasing Manager in 1991 and Frontline Networking Systems, Inc. More recently Frank enjoyed working part time at Highfields Golf and Country Club in Grafton and Apahouser, Inc. in Marlborough where he made many friends. He will be remembered for his generous spirit and love and devotion to his family.Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial calling hours from 9:30 to 11:00 am, followed by a memorial service on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Heritage Bible Chapel, 182 Brooks Station Road, Princeton.
