WEST BOYLSTON - Francis V. Pasquale, 72, of Lancaster Street died on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at UMASS Memorial Healthcare, Memorial Campus, after an illness.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy (Barton) Pasquale. He leaves two sons, Jeffrey F. and his wife Erin (Hegarty) Pasquale of Sterling and Daniel F. Pasquale and his wife Leslie Schomp of Worcester; a brother, Dominic Pasquale of West Boylston; three grandchildren, Amanda, Jack and Nicolas Pasquale. A son, David F. Pasquale, two brothers, Anthony and Italo Pasquale, and one sister, Liberta (Pasquale) Fallavolita all predeceased him. Mr. Pasquale was born in West Boylston, the son of Vincent and Anna Pasquale.
Mr. Pasquale graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in 1955. He served in the National Guard during the Korean War. Mr. Pasquale worked at Norton Company for thirty years, retiring as a Senior Engineer in 1993. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in West Boylston and enjoyed golfing and bowling.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2nd in the Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Road (Rte. 12), Sterling. A funeral will be held on Thursday, September 3rd, from the funeral home with 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester Road, West Boylston. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Clinton Road (Rte. 62), Sterling. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Harold N. Keith Post 204, 159 Hartwell Street, West Boylston, MA 01583.
