HOLDEN - Frances M. (Rymasz) Moulton, 92, a 51 year resident of Holden, died peacefully at UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus, Worcester on Thursday, March 26, 2015. She was born in Mount Carmel, PA on November 22, 1922, a daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Dziedzic) Rymasz.
Frances leaves her beloved husband of 66 years, Harold A. Moulton, Jr.; her daughter, Christine Moulton, of Holden; her sister, Mary Desplaines of North Brookfield; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Stella and Alice, as well as her brother, Edward.
Frances lived in Massachusetts most of her life. She graduated from North Brookfield High School and following graduation worked for the I.E. Irish Insurance Agency. Married in 1948, Frances and Harold moved to Boston while Harold attended university. While there, she began working as a switchboard operator for General Electric Appliance and advanced to the position of secretary to the assistant manager. Frances dedicated her life to being a homemaker after the birth of her daughter, Christine. She had lived in Ontario, Canada for 8 years while her husband was working there. Frances was an excellent cook, a talented seamstress, was adroit with needlework and had a fondness for the game of golf and the dear friends that she played it with. Frances also had volunteered over 2000 hours at the former Holden District Hospital. She will forever be remembered as wonderful wife, mother and dedicated friend.
Private burial will be in the Moulton family lot in Walnut Grove Cemetery, North Brookfield. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
