Frances R. Gadde

HOLDEN – Frances R. (Findell) Gadde, 95, passed away on Monday, July 16th at Sterling Village. She was born and raised in Auburn, the daughter of Frank E. and Lydia E. (Anderson) Findell and had lived most of her life in Holden.

Her husband, Harry C. Gadde, passed away in 2010. She is survived by several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was predeceased by a her sisters, Vera E. Downey and Grace E. Hester.

Frances was a ledger clerk for 40 years at Norton Company in Worcester before retiring. Proud of her Swedish heritage, Frances was a member of Lodge Nordic No. 611, VASA Order of America in Worcester and was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church in Auburn.

A memorial service for Frances will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 18th in the Bethel Lutheran Church, 90 Bryn Mawr Ave., Auburn, MA 01501. A private committal service was held at All Faiths Cemetery in Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Bethel Lutheran Church. Arrangements are under the care of the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
