Frances (Dobrowsolski) Pielaszczyk

HOLDEN – Frances (Dobrowsolski) Pielaszczyk, 94, died on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in the Oakdale Rehab. & Skilled Nursing Center, West Boylston.

Her husband of 65 years, Stanley J. Pielaszczyk, died in 2004. She leaves two daughters, Frances A. Kacavich and her husband Walter of Worcester and Stephanie M. Manning and her husband Joseph of Proctor, VT; six grandchildren, Danielle, Ted, Kimberly, Tiffany, Julie, and Jared; five great-grandchildren, Madeline, Olivia, Kyle, Luke and Jacob; and many nephews and nieces. Three sisters and two brothers predeceased her.

She was born in Worcester the daughter of Stanley and Katie (Mieczkowska) Dobrowsolski and has lived in Holden for over 50 years. She was a member of St. George's Church, was an antique dealer, avid reader and loved western movies.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 26th, in St. George's Church, 38 Brattle St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oakdale Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center Patient Activities Fund, 76 N. Main St., West Boylston, MA 01583. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden.
