HOLDEN – Frances C. (Gleason) DePerrio, 79, formerly of Salisbury Street in Holden, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, in Holden Nursing Home, surrounded by her family.
She leaves three sons, William J. DePerrio, Jr. of Palm Coast, FL, Steven D. DePerrio of Middletown, RI and Christopher J. DePerrio of Holden; five daughters, Paula M. Scofield of Louden, New Hampshire, Jean F. Lane, Debra A. Colman and Sharon L. Smith all of Holden, and Susan J. Donahue of Pittston, Maine; 24 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Her son, Michael and granddaughter, Brianna, 7 brothers and 4 sisters, predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Herbert and Delia (Butler) Gleason, and had lived in Holden for 60 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church and taught in the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine program.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 9th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral for Mrs. DePerrio will be held from the funeral home with a Mass at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 10th, in St. Mary’s Church, 114 Princeton Street, Jefferson. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1326 Main Street (Rte.122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holden Nursing Home, Resident Activities Fund, 32 Mayo Drive, Holden, MA 01520.
