Frances C. (Doyle) Correa

STERLING – Frances C. (Doyle) Correa, 70, of Mellon Hollow Road, died peacefully at home on Friday, February 13, 2009.
Her husband, Robert D. Correa, died in 1986. She leaves five children, Mary K. Correa and Robert D. Correa, both of Sterling, Lisa A. Correa of Westminster, Judy A. Moore and her husband Steven of Princeton and Edward J. Correa of Arizona; two grandchildren, John Thomas Moore of Princeton and Edward J. Boswell-Correa of Attleboro; and dear friends, Sandra Watson of Sterling and Lynn Grover of Worcester.
Frances was born in Clinton, daughter of John and Alice (Flaherty) Doyle. She was a 1956 graduate of Clinton High School and a 1958 graduate of the Winthrop School of Nursing. She lived in Clinton before moving to Sterling in 1985. She was a licensed practical nurse for Clinton Hospital for 13 years and Worcester Memorial Hospital for 18 years, retiring in 2002.
A private graveside service will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Sterling. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Sterling Animal Shelter, 17 Laurelwood Rd., Sterling, MA 01564. Miles-Sterling Funeral Home, 100 Worcester Rd., Sterling is directing arrangements.
