Frances G. Applebaum (Bernstein)

Worcester- Frances G. Applebaum (Bernstein) formerly of Worcester passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 7th at her home in Mashpee. She was 95 years old.
Frances was born and raised in Worcester, the daughter of Nathan and Nellie Bernstein. She married her soulmate Eugene (Gene) Applebaum who predeceased her in 1986. She leaves three daughters, Susan Sigel of Mashpee, wife of Robert Sigel, Janet Kunin of Zichron Yaakov, Israel, wife of Joshua Kunin, and Nancy Applebaum of Seattle, Washington, 9 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.
Frances will be remembered for her devotion to her family and her sweet and gentle nature. She had an amazing outlook on life with a remarkable ability to handle the tough times with dignity and perseverance. Frances was a strong woman who appreciated life always looking at the glass as half full. She was a loving role model to her entire family and leaves a wonderful legacy.
Funeral services will be private and the family requests no flowers. Contributions in Frances' memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org) or a charity of the donor’s choice.
