HOLDEN – Florence V. (Cerasoulo) Wadsworth, 96, formerly of Jefferson, died Thursday, June 24, 2004, in Holy Trinity Nursing Home, Worcester after an illness.
Her husband Ralph J. Wadsworth, Sr., died in 1979. She leaves two sons, John H. Wadsworth and his wife Ann McCrea of Worcester and Frederick J. Wadsworth and his wife Patricia of Rutland; a daughter, Blanche V. Arell of Holden; four grandchildren; three great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A son, Ralph J. Wadsworth, Jr., died in 2002. She was born in Holden, daughter of Sabato and Gelsomina (Roberto) Cerasoulo, and lived most of her life in Jefferson.
Mrs. Wadsworth was a member of St. Mary’s Church, its Women’s Guild and the Holden Grange. She graduated from Holden High School.
The funeral service for Mrs. Wadsworth will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Steet (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, 1325 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 28, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
