WORCESTER – Florence "Flo" G. Totilas, of Brattle Street, died on Sunday, May 22, 2011, in Saint Vincent Hospital.
She was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late George and Louisa (Rapkevicz) Totilas, and has lived in Worcester her entire life. She is survived by two sisters, Eleanor Depenbrock of Washington, DC and Elizabeth "Betty" R. Davis of Maryland; 2 nieces, 2 nephews, 4 grandnieces, 3 grandnephews, 2 great-grandnieces and 3 great-grandnephews.
Florence graduated from Classical High School in Worcester, received a Bachelor of Science degree from Framingham State College and a Master's degree from Anna Maria College in Paxton. She was a social worker for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for many years working mostly with family services. She was a member of St. George's Church and its women's guild.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a calling hour from 9 to 10 a.m. followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. George's Church, 38 Brattle Street, Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one's choice. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street, Holden.
