Evelyn E. (Starbard) Robertson

HOLDEN – Evelyn E. (Starbard) Robertson, 93, formerly of Alpha Road in Holden, died Friday, March 21, 2008 in the Oakdale Nursing Home, West Boylston, after an illness.
Her husband of 54 years, David C. Robertson, died in 1994. She leaves her daughter, Gail Johnson and her husband Carl of Houston, Texas; grandsons, Michael and Todd Jennette of Holden; granddaughter, Sarah Johnson of Houston; grandson, C.K. Johnson and wife Jamie of Dallas, TX; and a great-grandson, Kenneth Johnson of Dallas. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kay Jennette, who died in 1994. She was born in Holden, the daughter of Walter and Edith (Henshaw) Starbard and lived in Holden most of her life. Evelyn was a 1936 graduate of Northeastern College of Law and practiced as an Attorney for the Paul Revere Insurance Co. She was a lifelong member of the First Congregational Church in Holden.
A memorial service for Evelyn will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 19th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 220 North Main Street, Suite 104, Natick, MA 01760.
