S Jeannette E. (Tourigny) Warman Lovejoy

WEST BOYLSTON – Jeannette E. (Tourigny) Warman Lovejoy, 73, of Valley Street, died Saturday, April 10, 2010.

Her first husband of 15 years, Donald Walter Warman, died in 1972. She leaves a daughter, Susan Warman Kantargis of Goffstown, NH; three sons, Stephen D. Warman of Worcester, Glenn G. Warman and his wife Sandra of Worcester and Craig C. Warman and his wife Michelle of West Boylston; two sisters, Janice Lefebvre of Portland, OR and Katherine Williams of Winchendon; six grandchildren, Victoria, Tanner and Cormac Kantargis, Kai and Autumn Warman, and Mary Caraballo; 5 stepchildren; 15 nieces and nephews. She is also predeceased by her second husband of two years, Donald F. Lovejoy, who died in 1981.

Jeannette was born in Ware, a daughter of Joseph Lionel "Leo" and Nora Julia (Adamson) Tourigny, and lived in Gardner, Winchendon and 51 years in West Boylston. She was a 1954 graduate of Murdock High School where she was an honor student and an athlete. She was a 1957 graduate of the Newton Wellesley School of Nursing and was a registered nurse at UMass Memorial Healthcare in Worcester and Oakdale Rehab. & Skilled Nursing Center in West Boylston. Later, she earned her real estate broker's license and worked for Horne & Hastings Real Estate in Worcester County area. She was a member of St. Christopher's Church and enjoyed having her family around her. Some other interests were: 'The Arts', traveling and getting together with her many friends. Once you were a friend of Jeannette's, you were friends for life! She loved to be by the water and put 'a cottage on a lake or the ocean' on the top of every wish list.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 15th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 16th, in St. Christopher's Church, 950 West Boylston Street (Rte. 12), Worcester. Burial will follow Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue (Rte. 56), Paxton. In lieu flowers, memorial donations may be made to Elder Services of Worcester Area Inc., 411 Chandler Street, Worcester, MA 01602.
