RUTLAND – Ernest J. “Skip” Leveillee, Jr., age 81, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at home in Rutland. Born in Worcester, he was the son of the late Ernest and Eleanor (McCann) Leveillee.
Raised in Paxton, Skip attended Wachusett Regional High School and went on to be a truck driver for most of his career. He worked for Cott Corporation, owned his own company, Grayrock Garage in Paxton for many years before finishing his career at Carlton Trucking, a job which he loved.
Skip lived in Paxton for many years where he raised his children. He and his wife enjoyed their yearly trips to Zephyrhills, FL just until recently.
He loved everything about cars, especially his former 1969 Road Runner. He enjoyed working on cars, building them, and traveling to car shows with his family. His most notable trips were with his family to the annual Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in Fairgrounds, PA.
Skip will be missed dearly by his loving wife, Beverly (White) Leveillee; a daughter, Lisa Grigaitis and her husband, William of Webster; a son, Mark Leveillee of Paxton; 3 grandchildren, Billy, Amber, and Zoey; and 1 great-grandchild, Sage.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Skip’s family from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 25th, at the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association online at
