Eric J. Kauppila

Holden - Eric J. Kauppila, 53, died at home on Monday, November 8, 2021. He was born in Worcester, the son of David Kauppila and Elaine Ahlfors Kauppila and had lived in the Jefferson section of Holden for many years.
Eric graduated from Wachusett High School where he enjoyed playing on the football team as a Linebacker. He went on to work for Reed Roll Thread Co. in Holden and later Coors Tech Co. in Worcester. Eric was the ultimate handyman and was especially adept at small appliance repair. He worked at Sclamos in Worcester repairing small appliances for a time and recently worked for himself, providing handyman services to local customers. In his leisure time, Eric enjoyed fishing, watching sports and spending time with friends. Eric will be remembered for his willingness to help others in any way. He will be dearly missed.
Eric is survived by his father, David Kauppila of Jefferson; his brothers, Christopher Kauppila and his wife, Kelley of Worcester and Kenneth Kauppila and his wife, Bonnie of Hamburg, NY; and his companion of many years, Vincenza Orrizzi.
