WORCESTER – Irene E. (Golanowski) Pineiro, 67, of 390 Bridle Path, died Monday, September 18, 2006, after a long illness.
She leaves her husband of 44 years, Roberto H. Pineiro; her son, A. Eddie Pineiro and his wife Amanda of Worcester; her daughter, Evelyn Pineiro of Quinebaug, Connecticut; a sister, Alfreda Flores of Long Beach, California; and three grandchildren, Shaylyn and Gregory Pinerio and Jacob Dubeau. She was born in Grudenz, Poland, the daughter of Alfred and Martha (Guldalinski) Golanowski, was raised in Germany and lived in Ayer before moving to Worcester 40 years ago. She was a former 25-year member of the Adams Square Baptist Church was an active volunteer with Christian Missionaries.
The funeral service for Mrs. Pineiro will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. Burial will be private in Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton.
