HOLDEN – Emma Ruth Fontaine, the infant daughter of Debora S. (Turner) and Steven P. Fontaine, Jr. passed away peacefully to be with her God and Angel friends while in the loving arms of her parents on Sunday, November 23, 2014, at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester.
Emma’s brief life gave joy and happiness to everyone she touched. In her short six months of life on earth, she gave more love than most people receive in a lifetime. Everyone that was blessed to meet her was instantly drawn into her love. Emma truly warmed the hearts of her family, friends and caregivers who lovingly cared for her throughout her illness.
Besides her parents, she leaves two brothers, Steven III and Jacob; two sisters, Falicia and Jessica; her paternal grandparents, Steven P. and Jo (Cook) Fontaine of Auburn; her paternal great-grandparents, Richard and Lorraine (Gallant) Fontaine of Worcester and Roger W. Cook, Sr. of Northborough; her maternal grandparents, Douglas and Sharon (Matkowski) Turner of Waitsfield, VT; her maternal great-grandmother, Marion C. (Cota) Turner of Waitsfield, VT; two aunts, Katie Fontaine-Deneault and Lori Basa; and an uncle, Joe Turner.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Emma’s family from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 28, at Heritage Bible Chapel, 182 Brooks Station Rd., Princeton. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 29, at Heritage Bible Chapel.
