Emily Copeland

TEMPLETON - Emily (Logan) Copeland, 35, died peacefully at UMass Medical Center - University Campus, Worcester on Saturday, October 23, 2021. She was born in Beverly, the daughter of Robert and Andrea (Nielsen) Logan and grew up in Lunenburg. For the last seven years she lived in Templeton with her beloved husband, Matthew.

Emily was a natural born artist and had an ability to draw out the beauty from anything. Whether it was decorating her home, wrapping a gift or developing a friendship, Emily approached the situation from an artist's perspective and the result of her efforts was always beautiful. Emily graduated from Lunenburg High School, and went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Framingham State University in 2011. She worked for a time as a Pharmacy Technician for Barre Family Pharmacy. From a young age Emily had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoyed snowboarding and BMX bikes as well as picking flowers and simply observing the beauty of nature.

Emily met her one true love, Matthew Copeland through mutual friends. The couple married in 2010 and settled in Templeton where they shared 7 wonderful years together. Her love for her family and friends was boundless and she will be dearly missed.

Emily is survived by her husband, Matthew Copeland; her parents, Robert and Andrea (Nielsen) Logan of Lunenburg; her sister, Bonnie Logan of Fitchburg; her mother and father-in-law, Cheryl and Steven Copeland of Oakham; and her sister-in-law, Katherine Copeland of Worcester.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main St., Holden. A funeral service honoring and celebrating Emily's life will be held at 12 noon at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 2. Burial will immediately follow at Grove Cemetery, Holden.
