PAXTON – Elna L. (David) Faucher, the wife of the late Richard Faucher of 65 years who died August 1, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 12, 2017 with her loving family by her side. She was 85. The daughter of Alexis and Laura (Carle) David, Elna was born in Worcester and later moved to Paxton. She will be affectionately remembered and missed by her three sons, Ronald D. Faucher and his wife Denise of Paxton, Don R. Faucher of Worcester, and Michael P. Faucher and his wife, Ingrid of Bartlett, Illinois; three grandchildren, Julie, Joshua and Nicholas; four great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Besides her husband Richard, she is predeceased by her brother, Paul David. Elna graduated from South High School and Salter Secretarial School. She was the office manager at her family’s business, Carlton Trucking Company in Worcester, for 50 years retiring at the age of 80. She was a member of St. Columba Church in Paxton and the American Trucking Association. In her spare time you could find Elna tending to her backyard gardens or vacationing with her family at Lake George in New York. Elna’s family would like to extend its deep appreciation to the Jewish Healthcare family; particularly Michelle and Joannie and the rest of their caring and devoted hospice team.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Wednesday, August 16, at St. Columba Church, 18 Richards Ave., Paxton. Immediately following her funeral Mass, Elna will be laid to rest next to her beloved Richard at Mooreland Cemetery in Paxton.
