Biography
WORCESTER – Elliott M. Ginsburg, age 74, died on Wednesday, October 7th at home after a long illness.

He leaves two sons, David Ginsburg of Worcester, and Jamie Ginsburg and his wife, Lisa of Webster; a daughter, Rachel, wife of Noam Schaap of New York City; and two grandchildren, Julie-Ann and Max Ginsburg.

He was born in Worcester, the son of Samuel and Gladys (Gordon) Ginsburg and was a lifelong resident. He graduated Cushing Academy in Ashburnham and attended Babson College.

For many years he owned and operated Arrow Wholesale Company, which his father founded in 1933. He ran the family business for more than 50 years.

He was a member of B’nai Brith and the American Theatre Organ Society and was a 40-year Red Sox season ticket holder. He loved classical music, opera and Broadway musicals. He enjoyed vacationing in Ogunquit, Maine, walking The Marginal Way and dining at Barnacle Billy’s.

FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 11:00AM ON FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9TH IN TEMPLE EMANUEL SINAI, 661 SALISBURY STREET, WORCESTER UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RICHARD PERLMAN OF MILES FUNERAL HOME OF HOLDEN. Burial will be in B’Nai Brith Cemetery.

Memorial Observance will be held through 5:00PM on Friday, 7:00 to 10:00PM on Saturday evening, and through Sunday afternoon at the Ginsburg residence; 2 Atwater Street, Worcester. Memorial Observance will continue in New York City through the morning of Thursday, October 15th.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, 200 Westboro Road, North Grafton, MA 01536.
