S Mary Ellen (Montville

WORCESTER – Mary Ellen (Montville-Mills) Moulton, 77, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010 in UMass Memorial, Worcester after a long illness.

Her husband of 32 years, John W. Moulton, Jr. died in 1990. She is survived by three daughters, Mary E. Moulton of Worcester, Janet A. Nanis and her husband Gregory of Paxton and Donna M. Moulton of Worcester; two grandsons, John W. and Nicholas G. Nanis of Paxton; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by four brothers, Francis and Alfred Montville and Chester and Earl Mills, and two sisters, Phyllis Scavone and Lillian Mills. She was born in Worcester the daughter of Joseph and Mary Montville and Wallace and Mary Mills and lived in Worcester her entire life.

Mary Ellen was a graduate of South High School. Formerly, she worked for the White & Bagley Co. in Worcester and was a poll worker at elections in Worcester. She was a member of Christ the King Church, loved taking care of her grandsons and enjoyed spending her summers at the camp with her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 19th, in the Miles Funeral Home, 1158 Main Street (Rte. 122A), Holden. The funeral service for Mary Ellen will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20th, in the funeral home with burial following in St. John's Cemetery, 260 Cambridge Street, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress Street, 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02210; or the National Kidney Foundation of Massachusetts, 85 Vernon Street, Norwood, MA 02062-2103.
